The Best Of All Possible Worlds

I have mentioned my good friend Bob on here many times before, and I have probably mentioned how he runs pubs, bars, and restaurants in Liverpool. His venues have included some legendary places such as Korova and Alma de Cuba.

Bob told me a while back how publicans are able to buy some quite well-known beers, but name/label them however they want. I can see how this works for the brewers with brands that are a bit tired, and also enables the pubs to have a little fun and extend their own vibe.

We went to Gaslamp after work today - me, the Minx, Dom, and Laura - and the bar had this pale ale on. I suspect it's re-badged, but either way, I like the name and also the inadvertent Kraftwerk homage in the picture of the train.
