Cracking up

Although not what you would call a lovely day, it was pleasant enough for a decent walk for the first time this year, so I headed along the Fintry road for some fresh air and exercise.

I was shocked to see this deep crevice that has appeared in one of the fields as a result of all the heavy recent rain. You can see the crack running all the way down the hill through the field, where it joins the River Endrick at the first line of trees. 

Bracing myself for the inevitable ructions in 'Happy Valley' tonight!
