The weather has finally improved today so this afternoon we got ourselves out in the sunshine for a walk down to Tong Park and along Gill Beck then across the stepping stones which were almost completely submerged in parts and back up via Moorside. It was unbelievably muddy underfoot and we had to grab on to trees quite a few times to stop ourselves slipping on the steep banks!
