First snowdrops from the garden!  As a child it was always my mothers birthday that saw the first of the snowdrops in Scotland .. we didn't miss by much in England this year! Two evenings ago we had the front door lights on for a while and to my horror I saw mossies or gnats buzzing about.. that really isn't right for January surely?
I couldn't resist picking just three of these little ones before the snow drops on them in the next day or two.. apparently it is a possibility and it is certainly a good bit cooler than the past few days.
