Cruising Past

Back blip

Zoomed in on this cruise ship when we stopped at a beach place on Copacabana in the early evening.  Bb and I have sometimes said that it would be fun to join a repositioning cruise ship on its way to Rio from Barcelona.  We'd get on with just our little carry-on trolley bags, like we do when we fly here! 

A nice day all in.  A little Aptis for me in the morning (like most days) and then a walk out into bright sunshine and round about the Antiquarium Shopping Centre (not like a shopping centre as we know it, but full of interesting old shops and one big supermarket).  We made two fun little purchases in one place for a total of 7 euros (for both!).  They'll no doubt be blipped at some point.  Then our usual Saturday lunch of feijoada of Bar Restaurant 420.  Walked along the front of Copacabana (stopping where I took my blip), home for a rest and then a game of Yahtzee at Tipicamente on our street later on to end the day.
