Annual Maintenance

With my new two coat system and a candle in the terracotta pot I was able to spend a few hours in the greenhouse today.

This simple act of cleaning, sharpening and oiling my gardening tools starts me salivating and I get twitchy to sow seeds. But resist I must. The weather is set to be cold next week and in my unheated greenhouse nothing will survive.

So I content myself with checking on seeds, cleaning into the corners, and dusting out pots ready for the new season. Everything comes to she who waits.
