Shrewsbury floods

Popped out on my bike this morning to see how the town was looking. Smithfield road was closed to traffic but not flooded, a cyclists delight. The floods don’t seem quite as bad as they have been, but still a massive worry for those on the river.

I forced myself out for a 10 mile run even though it was vile outside. The flooding and the wet ground mean having to stick to tarmac which isn’t my preference and none of my friends were free so it was a lonely one for me.
