The Cow and Calf

We drove down to Yorkshire in the morning (non-stop to get there in time) to meet Uncle Charles and Auntie Kirsty for lunch at the Cow and Calf pub on Ilkley Moor. It was a very cosy and festive place for a lunch. After lunch we tried walking out to the Cow and Calf rocks on the moor but it was too wet and windy to be out long.

We played Monopoly in the afternoon. With a time limit. Conor won! There was the traditional controversy however when Dad suggested a trade with Orla that would give him the light blue set. We decided there should be a rule that negotiations over trades should be not be influenced by other players.

We also played some Charades after dinner. A non-competitive version.
