Street Photography

The thought occurred to me today that Schull harbour is a bit like my street, when I'm at work all my blips are from the pier or the pebbly beaches that surround the water. I'm not so much drawn to the people and in the winter there often aren't any but more to the wildlife, some, like the friendly seals have become quite familiar. The herons too, I'm starting to be able to tell them apart and I've often wondered if they are male and female and do they breed on the rocky ledges? Today I got my answer when I spotted a smaller, grey bird, still with plenty of youthful fluff!
As I write this a gale is raging outside blasting of all the blossom, there are so few pollinators about. This morning the temperature was only 5 degrees and 7 degrees driving home, hard to believe it's only just over a month to summer Solstice.
