Field of Barley

This morning I had a nice walk down to the lake and back again.  Lots of runners, walkers, cyclists and swimmers.  Home for breakfast.  I then went to church, the extra is of the flowers, which were arranged for a funeral yesterday.  The hymn for today is 'Come, ye Thankful People, Come'.

After church I drove along the main road heading out of town.  I like to photograph this field of barley before it is harvested.  Another very hot day, +28C.  I will finish my steps when it gets a bit cooler this evening.

For our walk tomorrow, we will park at Shortcut Road, and walk downstream along a track with Pine trees and Willow trees.  It is forcast to be another hot day, so I hope the shady trees will keep us cool.
