Slippers.

Slippers have been in short supply this year apparently - something to do with extra demand due to energy costs/heating bills etc.  I usually pad about in big socks and/or Birkenstock style slip-ons but when a friend overheard me complain about cold feet these arrived for my birthday.  I haven't had slippers for years and years - no reason, just haven't.  Pure luxury sheepskin - fantastic!
Somebody else looked interested....Ginny cast an eye on them and checked to sniff  whether there was any vestiges of the live animal they once belonged to.  I need to keep an eye on her if they are left alone together in a room!
