Little Kickers

Euan went to football club for the first time today, with his Daddy. He was a little nervous at first but then got involved and told me all about kicking the ball off a cone in to the goal and kicking it through a tunnel in to the goal.  He was certainly very proud of his kit.  As the weather is still poor we had a quiet middle of the day and then when it cleared up, donned all our weatherproof gear and went in search of serious puddles.  Euan is still under the weather a bit so fell asleep when we reached the path through the flooded water meadows, so he missed his Mum and Granny wading over ankle deep through the running waters to the bridge!  He did wake to say yes to Blackwells where we took the lift to the wonderful Children's floor and he chose a solar system game and a Julia Macdonald book.  Back home, he beat us all soundly to reach the Sun first (with a few Euan rules!)
