Lamlash

Our first weekend on Arran. A+E were supposed to come and stay but ferries were cancelled. I was looking forward to them coming. We quickly made new plans while eating marmalade on toast in bed.

First, coffee at The Bay Store while observing the locals. Then we drove to Brodick. The charity shop was the most exciting thing that’s happened to me all week. I bought an old waterproof jacket, green. And Carina bought a build-your-own wooden ship.

Next stop Lamlash for a pub lunch and the crossword. Then home before sunset so we didn’t need to walk up the hill in the dark.
