I had a nice wander around the Gleisdreieck which was part of the Anhalter freight railway station. After the war it was no longer needed due to Berlin being divided. Until the 80ies there were plans to build a motorway on the area. Later on there were plans to build on the area. Locals were opposed to these plans and luckily managed to keep the place as an industrial wasteland. It's a fabulous place and I hope to explore it some more. I took lots of photos and put a selection on flickr.
