Squirrels in the garden

The squirrels come to scavenge seeds the birds drop on the ground below their feeders, so a good photo op for me. These squirrels aren't native, but have made their way across the prairie from eastern USA. Now that there are abundant trees planted here (in an area that was originally grassland) by human settlers, the squirrels have made themselves at home.
