Wet again.

Trip to local town for several bits and pieces. Mainly some more bird food, and one of my favourite salts.....Herbamare, Seasoning salt, made from pure sea salt, infused with organic herbs and vegetables. Made in France. Wonderful to flavour mashed potato, among other things.

Stopped by the pond on the way home. The sun actually made an appearance. No ducks but two moorhens. It looked as if they have started building a nest in one of the duck huts.
Also some hellebores flowering round the side. Although there is a notice asking people not to feed bread to the ducks, the grass was covered in pieces of bread.

Glad I decided not to put any washing out as we have had a lot of squally showers. Turned much colder too.

Now enjoying a glass of wine while the Chicken Jambalaya is cooking.
Wood burner going strong. A cosy night in for us.
