No ferry today

The Avon at Stratford has reached the top of the banks and started across the recreation ground.  This is the chain ferry jetty - not back in operation until April(?)
I've left this one in colour as it shows the muddy nature of the water at the moment.   This section of the river is connected to the Stratford canal off to my left and there is a weir just off the the right so I guess it won't flood much higher.

Tomorrow's excitement - a trip to the recycling centre!
Booked our timeslot on Eventbrite, from the tone of the email confirmation you might think we're off to see AC/DC, but no, just the tip recycling centre.
