Morning Walk

Headed out after breakfast to explore various parts of the city next to the Water of Leith.

Dean Crematory, opened in 1845 is beautifully landscaped and was the place to be buried in Victorian times. (21)

Then walked down into the Dean Village.  I used to walk through here when I was at school and it was very rundown and sorry for itself.   Nowadays very much on the up and up - and always full of tourists. (22) Extra

Finally walked under Thomas Telford's Dean bridge (20) (extra) and down into Stockbridge and then home.
