The Gill

It wasnt raining ! We decided to go to Ulverston and walk up The Gill as it should be relatively dry for Fletch. ( ie not very muddy) 

The beck was very full and it was a nice relaxing walk with the sound of the water rushing past. 

It was not too busy and the few people we passed were very friendly which is the norm when we do this walk . It is a very relaxing place , maybe it brings out the best in people.
We walked as far as the 'kissing gate' . The field beyond was muddy so we turned back . 
A nice leisurely relaxing walk.
