The Messenger

In many Native American traditions, Cardinals are seen as messenger birds.  They stand out so beautifully against the icy, snowy branches.  Folklore traditions also say seeing one is a message from someone who has passed on.  My Cardinals don't visit Auntie's Tree often but whenever they do it is a special gift.
