Another day, another dream dawning

This artwork outside Morningside United Church was installed last year with words by Larry Butler, calligraphy by Susie Leiper and the carving, design and skill of Roger Hall using part of a wych elm which was felled in 2003 in Edinburgh Botanic Gardens.

Over 12% of people in the world go hungry each day and can only dream of food. Christian Aid asks us to "Bite back at hunger" especially when there could be enough food for everyone and one of their events is the annual C A booksale at this church at Holy Corner in Edinburgh. The very well organised sale runs for 7 days until next Saturday afternoon and offers a wide variety of titles from which to choose while at the same time helping to raise funds and make the dreams of some of the world's poorest to become reality.
