Tree Revisited

I have photographed this tree in early light several times over the years.  I love the shape of it, and the way it sits proud against the sky.  And this was one of the best skies yet.

It was a startling sunrise when Daftie and I made our way through the misty first light, as can be seen from my extra.  Daftie, of course, was more interested in the steaming pile of something nestling in the verge that he wanted to roll about in.  Fortunately I managed to drag my eyes away from the sky just in time to stop him!
