Pirates of the Caribbean

This is the view from our hotel looking down towards Scott's Head. This area has been used in several Pirates of the Caribbean films.

Today, we got a taxi down this bit of coast to Champagne Reef. I visited it in 1972 and wanted to come back. As well as being an interesting place to snorkel with beautiful fish and corals, it has lots of streams of bubbles coming from volcanic activity - hence its name. Technophobe has blipped some underwater shots.

When we got back to our hotel, we were pleased to find this sailing boat anchored outside our room. It is a Clipper called the Stad which was built in 1998 in Amsterdam.
