Christmas cactus

My Dad’s Christmas cactus started flowering at the beginning of December and is still in full bloom today. It lives in his kitchen windowsill and I took this picture whilst I was making him pancakes for lunch. I will try and catch up with your journals over the weekend. Work is frantically busy at the moment and as some of you will already know, my Dad is housebound and very frail, so also takes up a chunk of my time - not that I mind, he has always been a brilliant Dad, and now it’s our turn to look after him.
