Bella Napoli

Slices of the Lungo di Napoli squash sautéing in our olive oil, butter and garlic. They say - the seed merchants probably - that you can taste all of the flavors of Naples. Whether or not, they are pretty good. Although we lost six of them to some rot probably linked to late growth without sufficient ripening.

These last two days there has been that quality of light returning that makes outside jobs almost enjoyable. Still a bit of a trudge TBH. But there again I am maybe a little bit out of condition.
