Holes

The birds make holes in Foloh's lawn all winter. They peck the ground where the seed drops from the feeders.  he used to be quite annoyed but now he just waits for spring and fills in the holes.
Today we went to Asda , which is not a local shop but we had a voucher.. At the checkout the lady said that they were doing soup, a roll and tea or coffee for a £1. We decided to go up stairs and try. I have to say the soup was delicious and the coffee was good too.. I should have been a bit disappointed that the staff all took one look and decided I was a pensioner. No-one asked if I was old enough!!
They even offered a refill of the coffee but we declined. Foloh tried to leave a tip but the girl said they were not allowed to accept any tips. It was a very generous service for old people.
