Flood Gates?

Not sure if that's what these are called.
I decided as the Sun was shining I would brave the wind & go for a walk up by Tollgate School along Crumbles Sewer; the Sky is so blue reflecting in the water, but boy the wind is bitter.
Nice walk, ending with me popping into Lidl to see what goodies they might have; I ended up buying £36 worth of stuff; too easily done.
I mean I went shopping yesterday; did I need the stuff I bought; I guess the idea is it will save money in the long run.
