It snowed last night ...

... on the hills overlooking my valley, and it was certainly mighty cold this morning, with the car frosted up and all. Gorgeous sunshine as the day wore on, with the strange effect, typical to San Martín, that you can bask in the warm sunshine in a T-shirt but if a cloud passes or you step into the shade you go all ashiver, looking for gloves and sweaters. Yep, strange weather, but the snowfall on the mountain tops is a clear sign winter is coming which is good for San Martín as a ski resort. In another month we'll be putting the chains on the tyres (or switching to studded tyres for those who have them).
