Mae Nor'dzin wedi cwblhau’r model Lego o ‘Y Noson Serennog’ gan Vincent van Gogh. Mewn rhyw ffordd rhaid i ni diolchgar i Nor'dzin bod yn sâl iddi hi gael cyfle i wneud y model. Fel arfer basai hi bod yn rhy brysur gyda phethau eraill i eistedd i lawr gyda Lego, ond dros yr ychydig ddyddiau diwethaf roedd rhaid iddi hi ymlacio.

Felly dyna ni, ar ôl chwe mis ers i ni ei brynu, mae darlun van Gogh gyda ni ar ein wal.

“Gwelodd Van Gogh fyd gwahanol - byd a oedd yn fywiog, yn llythrennol yn fyw - rhywsut cipiodd hwnnw gyda phaent ar gynfas. Rydyn ni wedi bod edmygu ei gwaith er tro, a nawr mae'n ar gael mewn a ffurf cerflun, diolch i Lego.” ― fi, Blipfoto, 2022-06-10

Rhaid i mi ddweud ei bod yn llawen gael y darlun hwn. Mae'n dod â rhywbeth o weledigaeth van Gogh yn fyw, ac mae'r cyfieithu i mewn tri dimensiwn yn wych. Dych chi'n gallu gweld yr awyr, y sêr, y pentref, a van Gogh ei hun. Mae'n rhyfeddol i weld.

Dydw i ddim yn meddwl y byddai hyd yn oed van Gogh wedi dychmygu ei waith yn troi'n gerflun fel hyn.

Nor'dzin has completed the Lego model of ‘The Starry Night’ by Vincent van Gogh. In a way we must be grateful to Nor'dzin being ill for her to have the opportunity to make the model. Normally she would have been too busy with other things to sit down with Lego, but over the last few days she had to relax.

So there we are, after six months since we bought it, we have a van Gogh painting on our wall.

I must say it is a joy to have this picture. It brings something of van Gogh's vision to life, and the translation into three dimensions is fantastic. You can see the sky, the stars, the village, and van Gogh himself. It's wonderful to see.

I don't think even van Gogh would have imagined his work turning into a sculpture like this.
