Flood Alert

At Bangor on Dee where the village is on flood alert - not an unusual occurrence after heavy rain. We had a great day, walking on the river bank in the morning as far as we could go. The fields and flood plain are flooded, giving an impression of several small lakes. The alert was given last week so all livestock have been removed. Later we went to ‘the Lost Barn’ for lunch, and on to Bellis Garden Centre for a wander round and afternoon tea. I suppose that is it now. I am a retired older person enjoying the delights of garden centres and afternoon tea. There is an interesting story here. A story of ‘strawberry dodgers’- a novel waiting to be written.
