Appliqué

This is a corner of my *secret* project! I have tried machine blanket stitch to secure the appliqué and I am rather pleased with the result. I just need to get the corner stitches a bit more accurately placed.
I love the thread, which is called ‘Fantastico’! Exactly what I needed.
I am working away at it and hopefully it will be finished and revealed in mid February so I must keep going! Anyway the weather is favourable to staying indoors and stitching, to look on the bright side.
