You can't beat Leith Walk when it comes to mooching round charity shops - and I like to wonder about the stories behind the strange treasures to be found there.

Who was Mags, for instance? Was she listening to Tom's dulcet tones last week or last century? Did she put her name on the record because she took it to a party? Was it a good party? And why did she use a sticking plaster? Just another 45rpm mystery in a box full of them.
