This isn't my house but I couldn't resist a cheeky blip of the lovely heart shaped wreath on the cottage door. :-) It is doing well to remain in place given the high winds that continue to rage on!

An interesting afternoon in my classroom as we did some more learning about Walter Tull in history. We discussed his death in battle and how his body had never been found. This was discussed in a way only 5 and 6 year olds can...

"I think his body wasn't found because maybe he was already up in heaven."

"Will he be dead forever?"

"I reckon he isn't even dead cos you can be a ghost."

"Did he die because he wanted to be a poppy?"
