Boscombe Reflections

A stay at home day. The rain seems to like our island.

10am coffee at neighbour’s ‘G’ above. They’re off to Rome next week and wanted help with a few Italian expressions - also questioned how to pronounce Pamphilj (also spelt an easier on the eye: Pamphili).

I correctly suggested it was pronounced “Pam-fili”. My darling Italian other half came up with Pam-fili-j’ - wrong wrong wrong.

Made hummus. Ages since I’ve eaten any. Added more tahini than usual - made all the difference.

Repaired a much worn Superdry jacket, the side seam fabric was splitting. Found some stick on anorak patches on Amazon. Now done - hope it holds.
