Better late than never

When we tried to plant these bulbs before Christmas the ground was frozen solid and we gave up. This week we've watched the weather forecast closely for any breaks in the downpour. We thought we had an hour or so today, but it only lasted 20 minutes. We were well happed up , as we say in Scotland but guddling around in the mud soon lost its charm. Oh well, try again next week.
