Well what can I say  advice for potential book cover.! What a fantastic response,  45  people gave their opinions (3 by WhatsApp!) with some great explanations as to why they made their choice. How wonderful it is to have critique available  - peer review I believe is the correct term!  Anyway, D came out tops with 19 votes, B not far behind with 16, A got 7 votes and C got two. It looks like the main decision is whether include the  words Ancient Fountains. This is a direct quote from within the text, and wells were often referred to as fountains in the 19C, though of course they're not. Hmm. Still a bit of dithering going on this end.
