Breezy at Crummock Water!

We thought we were in for another wet day…but the rain stopped at coffee time, and we headed off to Crummock Water.

Very windy! Sunshine too!!

The main photo and one of the extras show spindrift on the lake…the other extra shows waves on the lake.

The Jet stream seems to be sending us lots of rain, but fortunately some dry spells too. This allows the rivers to drain away into The Solway at Workington.

Although the rivers are very high, The Environment Agency haven’t closed the flood gates so far.
