Red Wattle bird

I have wattle birds visit me at home but they like to stay hidden in trees so it is hard to get a shot of them.  At mums they were out having a bath in the bird bath, feeding on the grevillea and generally carrying on making their clucking raspy calls.

Mum to the hairdressers this afternoon and Maggy and I went for a walk not far away.  Mum doesn't look so much like a Wild Woman from Borneo now.  It's amazing how a good haircut can give you a lift.
