The Wensum

I worked in Norwich today. Not because I had to, but because I wanted to. I need a bit of variety in my week. I also need to be able to wear nice clothes, put on make up and jewellery. I wore my new silver bangle which Jon bought me for my birthday and lovely silver hoops earrings which he bought me for Christmas (I did very well this year)

It was a shock to the system when my alarm went off at 6, as I had been awake every hour, but I got up, did the usual jobs and got away just after 7. The traffic was heavy and I got to work at 8.15.

Really nice to be warm and to have company - there were 5 of us and we were able to socialise. I had a coffee break with Chris away from the desks, and at lunchtime I walked down to Morrison's and back - crossing the river at Carrow Road. A 6000 steps day - much better than my usual nearer 1000 steps. Tomorrow I am out and about so hope to keep up the steps.

Got home at 6.30 as Jon was heading out to scouts. My dinner was in the oven and I sat with Mollie watching the first 2 episodes of series 3 of Emily in Paris on Netflix whilst i crocheting my dish cloth and Mollie knitted a square. We are starting simple.
