the early bird

following my evening out on the yorkshire moors yesterday I have spent most of today nursing a mug of lemsip and a box of tissues owing to a severe case of man-flu. In between the hail storms (isn't it supposed to be Summer FFS!) I thought I ought to venture out and get some fresh air for a few minutes.
I also hoped that I might catch some of the local wildlife doing what it does. Happily these little chaps were very obliging, flitting from place to place gathering worms and other tasty delights.
