The map shows part of a motorcycle trip Helen and I did back in 1995.The original aim of the trip was to visit Santiago de Compostela.The ferry ride to Santander was very rough and Helen suffered badly so we decided to change plans explore the area shown and make our way home through France spending a couple of days in Chinon.

The point of this is that we want to do more of this and have been putting plans into place over the last six months to give us the time to make it so.Today has been spent on the financial side of making it happen.Finishing this trip is just one possibility.A few modifications to the Triumph also needed and I am already half way through doing them.

In the past when travelling through Europe on motorcycles we didn't even book ferry tickets (the exception being this trip).We would arrive in Calais and take it from there.A little more planning may be required now but it will be the minimum.
