Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Handy

Went to bed last night half expecting to have a poorly Josie arrive this morning but she seems to have recovered overnight, so she was back to nursery today.
I was up mid morning and headed off for a review at the physio clinic at St John's. What a nightmare parking there was.
After an x-ray, it was agreed that although the fracture has healed fairly well it looks like there is some soft tissue damage at the head of the Ulna. At this stage the main treatment will be physio which may or may not cure things completely. I'm not holding my breath but an improvement in the pain levels would be good. They were very apologetic that my referral to the specialist hand clinic made last October could not be traced although the records say it was made. Ah well. This referral will be high priority which is pleasing.
I snatched a quick blip of the computer screen with my two xrays on it. Remarkably good resolution. I was intrigued to note from the tabs at the bottom of the screen that this was also a full record of all of my xrays back to 2010. I didn't realise I'd had so many.
It's Jon's birthday today so Colin acted as postman. Jon had his last night duty last night so slept most of the day and is ready to celebrate with the family this evening.
For some reason I'm ridiculously tired today. There seem to be a lot of things going on in my life just now several with potential complicated outcomes. I think I hold on to the strain of those.
