Hairy Maclary from Donaldson’s Dairy.

I’d hear of these books before we had Kara. For some reason I’d assumed they were Scottish. Even Jen did. Probably the Mac in the name. Turns out they are from New Zealand. Either way they are a fun set of books.

I sat with Kara this evening and read the full set. Again. I don’t mind. Having a kid really forces you to no worry how well you can read out loud. Something I hated at school. Suppose it’s more fun when the books are fun too.
