Sitting in sunshine

I had one of my usual restless post-camera club night’s sleep and was rudely awoken by last week’s 8 a.m. alarm, which I had forgotten to cancel, and  I couldn’t turn it off because it was downstairs.  Then the door opened and I was asked if I’d like a cup of tea.  JJ was supposed to be playing golf, but the course is waterlogged.

The sun was shining and whilst JJ was out washing his car I sat down to the dreaded jigsaw, put in a few pieces before deciding that a great chunk of sky was “in the right order, but not necessarily in the right place”.  A bit of rearranging and now there are just the trees to complete, but I think it’ll take another few days.  Remind me never to get jigsaw puzzles with sky and trees please.

Over to friend’s house this afternoon, in the rain, where three of us had a good natter in front of the log fire.
