Sunlight Strip.....

An afternoon's walk today due to the weather. We got some glorious light over the lake just as the sun was setting. 

And a little bit of drama as we tried to rescue a juvenile mute swan from a vicious attack by an adult male. It is the time of year when the parents try and drive off their young but this seemed different. We didn't think the young bird was injured just a bit shook up. We passed on a message to the reception team for the wildlife manager. But there's not much we can do as it's perfectly natural.
