Glen Dump
It was wind and rain for Arlo's lunchtime walk, but one man and his dog have got to do what one man and his dog have got to do. Sheesh, I had to concentrate on that sentence :-) All the cars were out today, so we had to walk there and back again, which I guess for others, is effectively just a walk because you don't walk to your walk and then back from your walk do you? I do, when I don't have a car.
This is by the limestone kilns, the river is the one that passes through my favourite view, the road is on the left, and to the right of the road is where people chuck their rubbish down, like washing machines. This land is not really used for anything, you can't see the rubbish from the road, I guess it will always be there.
On my way back home, which I've already established is still just the walk, I passed the cottage with a similar address as us. It is the cottage where Evri (previously Hermes) deliver our parcels to. Today they delivered 2 pairs of wellies and 2 wine boxes, which were outside their back door. I knocked to check, she confirmed it was there but hadn't known, I couldn't carry any of it, so she left it dry and Mrs C picked them up as she drove home.
I am not sure when I retire that I can cope with missing this level of excitement in my life? Ho hum....
