Old Map.
This for some reason I find fascinating. It is so detailed, I need a magnifying glass to see some of the detail. It dates from before 1936, the Kincardine Bridge is not shown. Of course, motorways are at least 30 years in the future so all main roads go right through any towns, at least there wasn’t the density of traffic.
One attraction is all the railway lines. They go almost everywhere, even with duplicated routes on occasion. Ah, those were the days!
We did a little but quite important shop this morning and got out and back in fairly dry. The rain got steadily worse and that wind got up too. The delights of a Scottish winter!
