My Dad.

My dear Dad passed away 10 years ago this coming June. He was poorly on and off for 5 years with a rare cancer and he got bored! Mum suggested he write some of his life story …. So he did. He was in the RAF after the war which was his pride and joy. He also talks about having to work for the Germans when Guernsey was occupied….he was a bit of a lad! I decided to type it up for the family to read. I use dictation on my iPad in Word and do a paragraph or more at a time then edit it. I am so enjoying this! There are 63 A4 pages in his own handwriting to decipher (at times!) otherwise he had good handwriting! I’ve missed him a lot just lately! I’ve blurred the writing as I don’t want it read yet!!
