the spiv

This is a sketch that Stewart did when he was about 15. He used to do a lot of drawing and really enjoyed art until he chose it for one of his GCSE subjects. Then he found he could no longer draw what he wanted but was expected to follow a curriculum. It completely spoilt it for him. He did get his own back though as the class was asked to draw the view from their bedroom window for the weekend homework. At the time the view from his bedroom window was of a huge tree, a beautiful tree, that was so close that the leaves brushed against the window. And that’s what he drew…. She didn’t believe him so he offered to take her home and show her.
