First game of the new year and we all seemed a little rusty. Chances came and went and then the other lot seemed to shift up a gear, scoring four without reply. It was beginning to look so grim that when we pulled one back my initial thought was, 'at least we have avoided a "granny"'. Only we then started playing better and not only pulled level but even got ahead, by one, and just briefly. I didn't score but was pleased with a quick lay-off in front of goal that set up I for a tap in. It was close for a while but then they pulled ahead again and they were ahead by three at the end. Still, good to be back.
